About the curation, the festival writes:

'CPH STAGE SELECTED are very special performances that you should pay extra attention to. They represent a wide variety of genres and give a good picture of where Danish and international theater is right now.

This year's SELECTED brings you dance theater with magnificent beauty, wild costumes and breathtaking technical skill. Plays that both touchingly and humorously reflect on the inexhaustible power of love. And performances where neglected voices speak out and show you new perspectives on human relationships, artificial intelligence and societal norms.'
